Positive: Beautiful cosy cottage close to a village with shops & cafes as well as an excellent farm shop nearby. Friendly host got in touch with information on local restaurants and attractions. Felt quite luxurious taking a relaxing bath in the bedroom. Lovely countryside views and good for local walks. The Xmas decorations were a lovely touch!

Negative: The bed was a bit too firm. The enclosed garden isn’t secure for dogs as here’s gaps in the hedge they could escape through. We didn’t realise until arrival that dogs aren’t allowed upstairs. Our dog has separation anxiety so didn’t like being left on his own overnight in the kitchen.

Summary: Really cute and cosy cottage decorated to a high standard
