Gillean House offers the ultimate space for those seeking a relaxing & very special family holiday. Recently upgraded, this large beachfront house provides well appointed & spacious modern living whilst retaining the charm of the original 1803 croft house. Nestled in a peaceful hamlet on the Sleat Pennisula, Gillean House boasts incredible sea & mountain views, including the iconic Cuillin Range. A charming & expansive garden provides easy access to the beach as well as surrounding hills.
The space
Gillean House has been recently renovated and provides modern spacious accommodation for 6 guests whilst retaining wonderful characteristics of it's 200 year heritage. Gillean or Gillen House, was built in 1803 by Dr. Alasdair MacDonald. The house was known for its many ceilidhs and dances. There is historical information about the house at the Armadale Museum.
LIVING SPACE: Large living room with beautiful views to the sea. 2 couches, chair, and large screen TV.
