Enjoy a relaxed experience at this modern home set in the historic market town of Cockermouth. The perfect base to explore the Lakes, relax and unwind with a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants a short walk away. This comfortable, cosy hideaway is perfect for those looking for independent shops and eateries, as well as impressive scenery, great walks and places of historical interest. A great sized semi-detached house with ample driveway parking. A comfortable bedroom with one large bathroom. A comfortable second bedroom with a good sized en-suite bathroom. A smaller bedroom with a double bed, perfect for children or another couple. There is a downstairs toilet and a large living room for winding down after a long day exploring the Northern Lake District. The kitchen located at the front of the house has modern appliances with a peaceful dining area. There are some personal belongings in various locations but there is ample space for your belongings during your stay. There is also a cloak room to store any coats or luggage.
The house backs onto the A66, which adds some background noise to the garden. However, guests have always enjoyed their time here. The double-glazed back windows effectively reduce any noise inside. If you're sensitive to sound while sleeping, bringing earplugs might ensure an even more restful night.
You will have access to all of the house which includes; 2 main bedrooms, one with en-suite, a smaller double bedroom, a main bathroom, living room, kitchen and garden. There are some cupboards in the kitchen which are labelled private.

The TV offers no aerial/satellite TV but is a smart TV with all apps available where you can use your own personal login. There is also one smart TV in the bedroom with the en-suite with the same setup as the main TV.
