With a heated swimming pool, bar, conservatory to relax in and the superb Beaucliffes restaurant offering some of the finest, freshest food in the area, this is a superb addition for your holiday. Porth Beach really is the ideal family beach, as its lovely golden sands are well sheltered by the headlands, which trail into the shore to both sides. Porth Island to the east is accessed over a narrow footbridge and is well worth the walk, both for the spectacular views and to marvel at the impressive prehistoric earthworks and early settlement remains. At low tide you can stroll to Watergate Bay along the beach, for a walk you will never forget, before returning after refreshment along the stunning coastal path. You also have the choice of wandering into Newquay, either via the beach or coastal path, to enjoy all that this popular seaside town has to offer. With so much on the doorstep you will find you might not need your car all week, but if you decide to go for a drive along the coast you will find a host of tiny coves and beaches all waiting to be explored.
