You are spoilt for choice with things to do in the local area, from cliff walks along the coastal path or out onto Porth Island with its Bronze Age archeological site, to exciting water sports such as body boarding. However, if it is relaxation you are wanting, this glorious stretch of sand is ideal for lazy days in the sun.
The seaside village of Porth offers a range of cafés and pubs to enjoy, or spend a day unwinding at the spa located at a local hotel a short walk away. There is a friendly pub just across the beach serving local ales and home cooked food, a favourite with visitors and locals alike. The pub offers a terrace that is right on the sand! Golf, horse riding, surf lessons and bike hire are all available locally.
Porth is just a short walk from the popular coastal town of Newquay.
