Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Loved the village, shop/cafe, view from the lodge, resident animals, the hot tub.

Negative: The fact that the lodge backed on to a haulage yard housing heavy plant machinery. The lorries started their engines directly behind the lodge every morning before 7am (except Sunday) which rather spoiled our holiday. We had chosen the lodge because it was supposed to be peaceful but it definitely was not and it made having a lie in rather impossible.

Summary: Shame about the haulage yard directly behind the lodge
