My family home is in the pretty village of Polruan at the mouth of the Fowey estuary looking out to the ocean. A short walk downhill will bring you to the Quayside and local beach.
I offer every comfort for a memorable stay with free car parking and plenty of space to relax. Enjoy my bed and breakfast with harbour views.
The King sized bedroom has a sofa, private shower and corner bathroom. *I have other rooms by arrangement.
I share my home with 2 friendly cats who like making new friends!
The space
My family home has been modernised inside and will offer you a comfortable, relaxing stay - a home from home!
There is a light and airy sitting room, with views over the river and ocean, furnished with comfortable sofas, a cuddle chair, large smart tv with SkyQ, Netflix and a BluRay plus an assortment of films on disc. There is also comfortable seating in the conservatory leading from the kitchen, overlooking the back garden, where you can relax with a book or listen to music. Your room, with rear garden views, is equipped with a king sized bed, wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers, larder fridge and a 2 seater sofa. There is a wall mounted large flat screen tv with SkyQ, Netflix and a DVD player with a wide variety of films for you to enjoy with a chilled drink from your fridge! I also have unlimited WiFi access which is available to my guests throughout the property.
The renovated bathroom is equipped to a high standard with a jacuzzi corner bath and a walk in digital shower which you can customise and preset remotely from your bedroom to ensure the perfect shower experience. My property is double glazed throughout with oil fired central heating and a combi boiler which provides hot water on demand.
Guest access
The lounge, kitchen and quiet gardens. The back garden is laid to lawn with a 2 seater swing seat on the deck installed in 2021, great for reading a book and enjoying a sundowner at the end of a busy day! There is a large patio at the front right hand side of the property equipped with a dining table which comfortably seats 6 people with an umbrella for hot, sunny days plus a solar powered water feature with ambient solar lighting for when the sun goes down. I've added a 2 level terrace and patio area on the other side of the upper front garden this year with a variety of furniture including a comfortable long rattan corner sofa, Sun loungers and a chunky teak bench which increases the number of outside spaces to enjoy and complements the al fresco dining area. All of the garden areas enjoy sun at different times throughout the day.....so you can relax in your sunny or shaded area of choice whenever you wish :)
Other things to note
*Whilst there are 2 other bedrooms on the ground floor I do not usually let them unless e.g. it is for a family who need extra space which I may be able to accommodate. Please contact me for details if required.
The upstairs area of my property is private and solely for my use.
