Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This was the nicest place we stayed in England. A real old pub atmosphere with nicely updated rooms, great food, and friendly efficient staff.

Negative: The only tiny negative I can think of was the room's rotted out window, complete with a warning to not try to use it. This place has experienced a recent deep remodel, so why on earth hadn't they replaced the windows with modern energy efficient ones?

Summary: Perfect stay!
