A beautifully designed one bed, single storey house, with mediterranean style courtyard garden. Located just a short stroll from the coastal path and Trevellas Porth, the closest beach. Perfectly located, between Perranporth and St. Agnes, for walkers, surfers and countryside lovers.
The space
House
We built our home in 2016 - we chose the spot because it's within walking distance of our favourite dog friendly beach. It's a spacious and airy one bedroom house, designed to be fresh and minimal. The house itself is inspired by traditional Cornish chalets and colonial style bungalows - with large sash windows, clapper board and wrinkly metal cladding.
We are located next door to John Fowlers Holiday Park, but are a seperate, private rental. There is however a bar, shop and swimming pool on the Park that are open to non-residents.
Inside
Spacious living area, efficient fully equipped galley kitchen, double bedroom with views over the garden and plush ensuite bathroom, with a thermostatic shower and full bath.
We provide a bluetooth DAB radio, there isn't a television but you're welcome to stream on your laptop using the unlimited wifi.
Garden
We've given the outside space as much attention as the house itself and created a courtyard garden with raised beds, verandah and pond. It's popular with birds and we've spotted everything from dozens of sparrows through to grey wagtails and birds of prey.
We've provided outdoor seating so you can sit back and enjoy the space.
Plus, there's an independent 'wash house', tucked around the side of the house, that contains a second toilet that we fondly refer to as the 'loo with the view'. Whilst a cold water hose is on hand to rinse off wetsuits after a day on the beach.
Parking
A large gravel driveway provides plenty of secure parking.
Dog Friendly
We welcome (well behaved) dogs - 1 large OR 2 small maximum. The courtyard garden is fully enclosed, we're located within a few miles of some amazing dog friendly beaches and just moments from miles of footpaths.
Stay Duration / Check-in Day
In general 7 day stays only - from Sat to Sat. Check-in from 3pm and check-out by 10am.
