Positive: Kitchen Cabin 29 was an excellent room, with a double and two single beds. Light and bright, parking at the door, good table for eating and games. Terrific little kitchenette. But I wish I had taken more seriously the fact that it doesn't have a bathroom. I'm too old to be getting up in the night to find the ablutions block (which was clean and fine). The reward is that the price was extremely good value for a location an easy drive to the boat to Doubtful Sound, as well as only minutes from the glow worm caves boat. The park was very family-friendly and helpful with tour suggestions.

Negative: The path from car to door felt dangerously close to an accident!

Summary: Great place to stay in Te Anau, if you don't need a private bathroom.
