Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Angela and Ion are incredibly warm and entertaining hosts, with plenty of stories that make you want to stay an extra day just to hear more. They know the area inside out and gave us great hiking tips. We especially loved the Borcut experience, the small chapel in Valea Vinului, and the peaceful walk through the forest. Breakfast was a real highlight — homemade dishes and traditional products from the region, the perfect calm start to a day of relaxation. The road leading to the guesthouse is paved almost all the way; there’s only a short stretch still unfinished, but work is already underway, so it should be fully paved soon.
