Positive: The property is very nice, located in Răchițele, a beautiful small village in the Apuseni Mountains from where I began my hike to Vălul Miresei Waterfall (“Bride’s Veil”) and then to the Cabana Vlădeasa (about 6 hours hike). The room was comfortable and clean. The host was very kind. There is a shared living room space down stairs and four rooms upstairs. Rooms were well heated. Nice view from the place to the surrounding mountains. There is also a shared kitchen that I appreciated.

Negative: There is nothing I did not like. It is a quiet place. I had to wait a few minutes to find the host and have the room prepared but no problem.

Summary: Good value in nice village to start hike
