Common Cottage is a beautiful holiday cottage located in the Lincolnshire countryside a few miles from the market town of Louth. The wildlife reserve of Donna Nook is behind us & the seaside resorts of Mablethorpe & Cleethorpes are only a few miles away. The village has all the amenities you need as well as three fishing lakes for the fishing fanatic. The village boasts beautiful walks both rural & coastal. Come & see the Seals in breading season, get up close with these beautiful creatures
The space is all yours, there is no sharing required! It's modern and comfortable with a private garden. There is a single parking space next to the cottage, please only park on the allocated space and not on the grass.
About the cottage - Inside is an open plan kitchen/diner and living space with a large flat screen tv, superb cinema surround sound, Sony blu-ray player and selection of Blu-ray and DVD's. The Log Burner adds warmth and a romantic touch for the cosy evenings in. The kitchen space has cooker, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. The bedroom has a luxurious king size heated water bed with 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets and bedding. The heated king size water bed is truly luxurious, it is temperature is controlled, and each person can control the temperature of their side of the bed. A flat screen TV, dresser with mirror, a hairdryer and wardrobe unit. The bathroom has a walk in Britsan power shower, and a high gloss vanity unit and toilet. There is also a utility cupboard housing a washing machine, ironing board, iron, airer and vacuum cleaner. There is a sofa bed in the kitchen area of the living space, this is a small double, suitable for up to 2 children.
Outside is a decked patio and lawned private garden, with patio furniture - BBQ can be arranged on request.
Inside the cottage is strictly no smoking, but there is an outside verandah.
The guests will have access to all the amenities of the cottage with private parking for one car. The cottage is secured with locked gate. There is everything from the big things like a washing machine, DVD player with movies to watch along with wifi, full fresh linen and towels,.
As and when you need us. We will aim to be there to welcome you, show you what you need to know and then we are at the end of the phone if you need us. The advantage of being nearby is we can answer any queries immediately and get any problems resolved. Otherwise the cottage has an information pack and we will leave you to your own devices.
Please note that access to the bathroom is via the bedroom. So the property is ideally suitable for couples or families 2 adults and up to 2 children.
Dogs are welcome, but please bring beds and furniture throws for your furry friends. The garden is secure, but please clean up after them. Dog 'poop' bags can be provided if needed.
