“Strawberry Water was a brilliant place to spend a week. A little off the beaten track, but that suited us perfectly. The house itself had bags of character and was incredibly well thought out. Comfortable and spacious, but also snug. The freestanding bath in the master bedroom was ace! There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. The gardens were something else! The beach was a short walk down a beautiful path. Being off the beaten track it was never too busy. Ideal for scrambling, exploring rock pools and swimming. Can’t really fault it. “We visited Strawberry Water with our extended family we all loved the house. It is beautifully decorated (lovely interior design), the layout is great and the outdoor space fantastic. The house has everything we could think of (towels, bedding, fully equipped kitchen, etc.) and we adored the thoughtful little touches the hosts left for us to find upon arrival. The house is within easy walking distance to Welcombe Mouth which is an amazing, wild and authentic pebbled beach. It a perfect place to relax, spend time with people, enjoy nature and recharge your batteries. We will definitely return again - we loved every aspect of our stay.” Sara

“We had the most fantastic week at Strawberry Water - the house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty to do from the house - you can walk to a beach and in 10 minutes you're on the South West Coastal Path. Just a short drive away are fantastic sandy beaches (we went to Sandymouth three times) and we had a great day at Hartland Abbey. The area is beautiful, the local pub (which does excellent food) is within walking distance or you can just stay at the house and relax in the lovely gardens: we even saw buzzards on our last evening. Would highly recommend the house to anyone wanting to get away from it all”. Anna
