This popular village is well serviced with amenities and is the ideal base for touring, with many beautiful beaches within easy reach, such as Kimmeridge and Ringstead Bay. Dorset’s county town, Dorchester, is 10 miles north-west and the walled riverside town of Wareham can be found 7 miles north-east. Those wishing to get active will find many activities in the local area, or relax and enjoy a family day out to the Sealife Centre at Weymouth or Abbotsbury Swannery, farm park and subtropical gardens.
