North Petherwin is home to the Tamar Otter Park and just a short drive to some of the most beautiful coastline and tourist hot spots in North Cornwall.

There are some lovely country walks in the village and surrounding area, using the network of public footpaths that criss cross this rurual area, the closest being Firestone Lane, just 20 yards from the cottage. Beach 11 miles. Shop 6½ miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
