The Space:
Southview Bungalow has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Perfect for socialising and unwinding with your loved ones, the living area features a leather sofa, matching armchair and a 52 inch Smart flat screen TV. The dining area can be found at the rear of the living space and includes a wooden table and four matching chairs.
Fully equipped, the kitchen has everything you could need to make the most of your self-catering staycation in Yorkshire, including an oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and a dishwasher.
Head along the hallway and you’ll find two bedrooms. Ideal for families, the master bedroom has a king size bed and the second room has twin single beds. Both beds have comfy mattresses and plush bedding to ensure you have a great night’s sleep.
Modern and clean, the family bathroom features a walk-in shower, WC and vanity unit for your convenience.
To the front of Southview Bungalow is an enclosed shale area with a garden seat. At the rear of the property, you'll find a private, secure patio area. The flagged patio has a dining space where you can relax with a cuppa in the morning sunshine.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Private on-site parking is available directly outside Southview Bungalow for up to four cars.
One small-medium well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at Southview Bungalow per reservation.
Stag and hen parties are strictly not permitted at Southview Bungalow.

Southview Bungalow is located in the quiet village of Barmston. Just a short 15-minute drive from the coastal town of Bridlington, it’s ideal for exploring the North Yorkshire coast. With a village pub, Indian restaurant, and a shop, you’ll be able to feel a real part of the community when staying in Barmston. What's more, dogs are welcome along the entirity of the beach.
Bridlington is a charming seaside town. Known for its lovely beaches and scenic views, the town has a variety of attractions including Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Bridlington South Beach, Bridlington North Beach, Bridlington Animal Park, Bondville Model Village and Danes Dyke Nature Reserve. Bridlington is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a beautiful mix of the coast and countryside.
Head to the charming old town and you’ll discover fascinating architecture and cultural history. The old town featured in the Dad’s Army film and even with the new, modern shops and stylish galleries found there today, it still maintains its historic feel. It is well worth taking the time to visit.
There’s nothing like the seaside to increase your appetite and Bridlington is no stranger to making the most of the fruits the waters of the North Sea yield. The esplanade is lined with seafood stalls offering whelks, mussels, crabs and much more. The restaurants along the seafront source the best local sea bass, sea trout, scallops, crab and there are a host of ice cream parlours offering delicious sweet treats to tempt the most discerning of palates.
Getting Around:
Southview Bungalow is just 300 metres from the beach and the village pub. It is also within 15 minutes’ drive time of Bridlington, and within an hours’ drive time of Scarborough.
Bridlington train station has direct routes to Scarborough, Hull and Sheffield.
There is a regular bus route running through Barmston, taking you to a variety of locations throughout Yorkshire. Hop on board for a day out to Beverley and Driffield, or head along the coast to Bridlington and Scarborough.
