There's no shortage of green spaces - from the park at West End Green to the larger Fortune Green park, the roads are lined with colourful mansion blocks and beautiful trees. The huge Hampstead Heath is also very close.
West Hampstead is ideal if you want to live in a residential London neighbourhood but still be in central London in less than 10 minutes. The Jubilee Line is one of the fastest tube lines in London, plus the Metropolitan line from Finchley Road which takes you to Baker Street in 4 minutes. There's also the Overground Train (30 minutes to Richmond, three minutes to Hampstead) and the Thameslink Train (one hour to Gatwick Airport and 30 minutes to Luton Airport).
