This property is located near the picturesque village of Grassington, famously known as the filming location for the beloved TV series All Creatures Great and Small. Restored by the current owners, Sandy Cottage is a delight, with Yorkstone flags, aged timber floors and exposed beams providing distinctive first-class accommodation. The cottage boasts a cosy sitting room with open fire in a feature stone fireplace, a dining room with French windows leading to a private Yorkstone flagged rear patio, and a fabulous location just yards from one of the best gourmet pubs in the area. Centrally located in this beautiful part of the National Park, there are lovely walks from the doorstep, while nearby is popular Grassington, with its wide range of shops, pubs and art galleries, annual Grassington festival in the summer, and traditional Christmas market and entertainment. Something for everyone whatever the time of year!
Set along the Linton Beck, the village of Linton itself is home to packhorse bridges, stepping-stones and fords, as well as multiple stone houses clustered around the central green, all dating from the 17th and 18th Century.
