A detached modern bungalow with 3 bedrooms located in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of the historic centre of Wells and the Wells Leisure Centre. Ideally situated to enjoy all the local amenities and even further afield, making this holiday accommodation ideal for families or groups of friends to get together. This cottage is nicely-presented with a spacious sitting room with a comfortable sofa and armchairs, making it a great place to relax after a full day out and about exploring the area. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to prepare some lovely home-cooked meals. There are three nicely-presented bedrooms with the extra flexibility of a zip/link bed and a small double as well as a separate bathroom. Outside there is a lawned garden to the side and rear of the cottage, making a great place for the kids to let off some steam or even some alfresco dining. There is much to see in Wells including the magnificent Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace, home of the Bishops of Bath and Wells for over 800 years. The Vicars Close is the oldest residential street in Europe. Street markets are held on the Market Place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Enjoy a day in neighbouring Glastonbury visiting the Abbey, climbing the famous Tor or browsing in Glastonbury's quirky alternative shops. Go walking on the fabulous Mendip Hills.
