The space
This large 3 bedroom, double-fronted Georgian house was built in 1822 and has been lovingly restored, maintaining many original features, but adding a stylish, modern feel throughout. Wonderful restored wooden floors run throughout the house and are dressed in antique Turkish rugs. Large windows flood the rooms in light and there are three beautiful and distinctive fireplaces downstairs to match the stylish décor, modern art and furniture.
The lounge has plenty of character and is spacious, light, sociable, comfortable and stylish. The study, dressed in large bookshelves and equipped with a large desk and captain’s chair is perfect for working during the day or reading in the comfy chairs in your spare time.
The large, bright open-plan kitchen has a high apex ceiling, sky lights and bifold doors that open onto the enclosed garden complete with a garden lounge area with furniture. This is an excellent space for children to play. The kitchen is equipped with a 5 burner Range cooker, American style fridge/freezer and dish washer. There is a large wooden table in the centre that comfortably sits 6 people. Attached to the kitchen is a downstairs toilet with sink and washing machine. The open-plan kitchen backs onto a relaxed seating area with a 4 seater sofa and two seater snuggler. A lovely and relaxing family area, there is space for the whole family to take it easy in the kitchen/seating area.
The house is located on a very quiet street in between the local cemetery and Bruce Grove Park, perfect for taking the family on a walk. There is a family friendly community-run pub that backs onto the park 100 yards away, which is prefect for summer afternoons.
White Hart Lane and Bruce Grove overground stations are 7-minute walks away, providing easy access to central London. The Tottenham stadium is less than 5 minutes’ walk away from the house.
Upstairs that are 3 double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super king size bed and has an ensuite toilet and shower. Another large toilet and shower room is across the hall from the other two bedrooms, which both have double beds and plenty of light.
