Accommodating two adults and two children, it also has an additional bedroom with a cot bed though the maximum number of guests is four. The cottage is a bright and family-friendly space with easy access to the city of Bath. Decorated to a high standard, it is well equipped with all family essentials, along with toys to keep the kids entertained. You enter the living area, which features a Smart TV and comfortable seating, and this leads to the well-equipped kitchen/dining room which also has a Smart TV and French doors that open to the beautiful, planted garden. This is a lovely area for all to enjoy and relax in with its outdoor seating and a barbecue. Also, on the ground floor is a downstairs toilet with a washing machine. On the first floor are three bedrooms - a double room, a children’s room with bunk bed, a small room featuring a cot for a small child, and the family bathroom. There is driveway parking available for two cars and there is also a place to store bikes. Combe Down village is situated just 1½ miles south of the beautiful city of Bath and makes the perfect base from which to explore Bath and its visitor attractions.
The village itself includes an award-winning deli, a local shop, and a large park. It is a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Prior Park Landscape Garden owned by the National Trust; a magical landscape garden with winding paths, hidden features, and views over Bath. In 1987 it was inscribed for its Hot Springs, Roman archaeology, Georgian buildings, and natural landscape setting. In 2021 a second inscription was received as one of the Great Spa Towns of Europe. For great views of the city, the Bath Skyline Walk is a 6-mile circuit that can be joined just a short stroll from the cottage. If you’ve got bikes, cycling through the Bath Two Tunnels makes for a great ride. There is so much to see and do in Bath, with a favourite being the Thermae Bath Spa.
